Our Correspondence Department researches and responds to all written inquiries, whether from third-party insurance companies, Medicare or Medicaid agencies, attorneys or patients. You will be responsible for reading, evaluating and responding to requests for information in connection with claims processing and /or resolution of patient accounts. Strong reading comprehension and analytical skills are necessary to perform adequately in this position. Previous experience reading EOBs (Explanations of Benefits) is helpful, but not required. Minimum typing skills of 50 words per minute are required. Must be able to sit for 8 hours. The work schedules are 6:30-3:30 and 7:30-4:30. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent for consideration. |
