Using either hardcopy or electronic patient charts, you will be establishing patient accounts in our computer system. Primary duties will include entering patient demographics and insurance information into the computer while maintaining at least minimum speed and accuracy requirements. You will be responsible for coordinating submission of insurance claims and tracking other data as required. Accurate understanding and application of correct procedures for data entry is also required. An Alpha-numeric minimum score of 8,500 ksph or 10 key (numeric) speed of 11,000 ksph is required. Previous data processing or data entry experience is strongly preferred. Medical insurance background is helpful, but not required. Must be able to sit for 8 hours. Training is: 6:45am-3:45pm Monday through Friday for first two weeks and flexible hours Monday through Friday from 6:30am to 9pm after successful completion of training. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent for consideration. |
