Coding Services—EPBS offers comprehensive coding services to its physician clients and their affiliated hospitals including CPT, ICD-9 and APC coding for professional and facility services rendered. Coding policy is established by the EPBS Coding Policy and Advisory Committee (CPAC) which consists of highly trained and experienced coding professionals who are certified by the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC). CPAC members are active in the policy making process through its affiliation with industry trade associations including the Healthcare Billing and Management Association, Health Care Compliance Association, American College of Emergency Physicians, Emergency Department Practice Management Association, etc... EPBS Coding personnel are clinically experienced and undergo rigorous internal training, certification and quality assurance to insure that coding is consistent with current industry and payer guidelines.
