Compliance—EPBS is and always has been committed to staying in compliance with Federal and State regulations. We have always had Quality Assurance Programs designed to monitor our compliance. However, we have taken the extra steps necessary to ensure that our programs meet all of the evolving standards. EPBS has implemented a formal, comprehensive Compliance Program that follows the guidelines provided by the Office of Inspector General (OIG) as well as the Federal Sentencing Guidelines. The EPBS Compliance Program, entitled "Do The Right Thing" includes, but is not limited to the following:

  • Designation of a Corporate Compliance Officer and a specialized Coding Compliance Officer
  • Written Standards of Business Ethics and Conduct
  • Comprehensive Training and Continuing Education Programs for all employees
  • Quality Assurance Programs throughout the company
  • Confidential hot line to receive questions and report problems
  • Corporate Responsibility Committee
  • Written Policies and Procedures
  • Confidential Disclosure Program

EPBS continues to strive for the highest standards of quality and value to benefit and protect the company and its clients. The EPBS Corporate Compliance Program is designed to detect and fix problems, empower each employee with responsibility for compliance, and provides all employees with a process for seeking guidance or reporting of problems. These comprehensive steps have been taken not only to minimize risk, but because it is the right thing to do.

By consistently applying our high ethical standards to each one of our business relationships, we continue to reinforce our corporate culture which is conducive to individual, company and client success.

Finally, as part of the normal service, EPBS provides its clients a high level of compliance support at no additional charge. Contact the EPBS Compliance Officer for more information.
